Tigers Futsal V Albufiera April 10th 2024

Last night Coaches Kyle, Paul and Simon took a Tiger side to play Albufiera at Futsal.

Coach Kyle reports:

The boys performed with heart and battled for the whole game against a tough opposition and a dubious referee! 

Thunder score first through Tyler and was backed up by Lyle, taking them 2-0 up, before being pegged back to 2-2 moments later. Macsen then put us up by one and again the response was cruelly swift taking it back to 3-3.

Around half time we continued to have control and were 4-3 up before a late surge for the home team and not long after it was an added time at 5-5. At 19:04, four minutes into added time, we were caught on the counter attack and the referee blew up. 6-5 to the home team. Final congratulations to our hat trick hero Lyle. 👍

Some really physical matchups tonight and we are very proud of the fight but still the level of control the tigers all shown. 🙏🙏 Well done from all coaches! We will get them next time.
